Ian had a great hobby of playing the keyboard. He also enjoyed attending many programmes to showcase his skills. One day, his teacher asked him if he could play "Jingle Bell" in the auditorium. Ian happily said yes. The programme was scheduled for the following Sunday, which happened to be Christmas.
He practiced "Jingle Bell" the entire week. However, on Sunday, the music teacher unexpectedly removed Ian from the programme and replaced him with another person. Ian was devastated. Weeks went by and one fine day, to his surprise his music teacher asked him to play the keyboard, but he declined. When his teacher asked why, Ian replied, "Because you told me to play for the programme, and finally dropped me over another student". Ian returned home, where he cried. He was very sad-so sad that he was slowly falling into depression. However, he managed to calm himself down and decided that the following year, he would enroll in another school.
The following year, he informed his parents that he wanted to attend a new school. Consequently, his parents admitted him to a different school. In this new environment, he excelled at playing the keyboard. All the teachers started praising him.
Nowadays, he actively participates in all musical and curriculum-related programmes. Today, everyone knows him as a great musician, and Ian is on top of the world.
