The Strongest One

Tom was a normal kid. He had a dream to live up to his mom’s expectations. He was born and raised in a poor family. He used to study a lot. He had a dream of becoming an engineer. At a young age, Tom's dad had left him. Tom only had his mother in his life. Tom’s mother never told Tom about her husband. Tom was superhuman for a person his age. Tom used his strength to protect people. As Tom grew up, he found out his dad loved boxing. Tom’s mother told him about her husband and about how he dominated every person in the ring. Tom’s father was a world champion in boxing. Tom’s father’s name in the ring was “Rook Ironclaw”. Tom took inspiration from his father and started boxing as a hobby.
Tom’s hobby soon developed into his daily habits. Tom loved boxing, and he took advice from his boxing coach “Kevin Rooney”. Kevin saw the potential in Tom. Kevin Rooney was also the coach of Tom’s dad. Kevin taught Tom every move and skill he knew. Tom did not look intimidating at all. He looked like a normal person. He didn't look like a boxer at all. When the day of the match to get a boxing license came, Tom dominated his opponent. Combined with Rooney’s skill and superhuman strength Tom KO’d his opponent in under 2 minutes. Tom became an official boxer. He started fighting in official matches. In his debut match, Tom again dominated and KO’d his opponent. People started giving Tom the title “The Knockout Artist”. Tom’s name in the ring was “Crimson Vex”. As Tom’s fighting career progressed he became better and better. He was unstoppable. He dominated all the matches in his country and he declared that he would now be fighting internationally.
Tom had the dream to become the world champion like his dad. He trained vigorously everyday. In his first international match Tom fought with all his might but sadly he lost. Kevin Rooney, his coach, cheered him up. Tom’s mother also cheered for Tom. Tom was deeply saddened by this loss. Tom promised Rooney and his Mom that he would never lose another match in his entire life. Tom trained and took every advice from Rooney. In the next fight, Tom dominated against his opponent. Tom’s mother was his biggest supporter. Tom loved his mother but one day sadly his mother was found dead at a hotel. Tom’s mother had died of a heart attack. Tom, now an orphan, was deeply saddened by his mother’s death. Even Rooney couldn’t cheer him up. Tom trained even harder to become the world champion. He fought for his mother. He prayed to his mom before every match. Tom dominated every match until he got a title shot for the champions belt. Tom’s dream could finally come true.
Tom’s could make his mom proud. He finally had a chance to become like his dad. Tom learned and mastered all the moves and skills that Rooney taught him. On the day of the match, Tom was afraid. He had only lost one match in his entire life. His match was against the same person that had defeated him. Tom “The Knockout Artist” had finally stepped in the ring to fulfill his dream. Tom was feeling nervous but he wasn't afraid of his Opponent, Shindou “The soldier of God”. Both men fought with both of them having close calls of losing. But, the people could clearly see it, Tom was losing.
The fight had come to the last round. Tom landed a clean uppercut to the jaw of Shindou. The referee counted to 10 and Shindou couldn't get up. Tom collapsed to his knees, overwhelmed by the weight of the moment. He had done it. He had won. Through the blood, the pain, and the exhaustion, he had found the strength to keep going, to fight through the storm and emerge victorious. Rooney came and hugged Tom. Tom had finally completed his dream. He made his mother proud. As the referee lifted his arm in victory, the cheers of the crowd washed over him. Tom"The Knockout Artist" , the kid from the streets who was blessed from birth, was the new world champion. And in that moment, he knew all the years of struggle, of sacrifice, of getting knocked down and getting back up again, had been worth it.
As Tom stood in the center of the ring, the championship belt draped over his shoulder, he looked up at the ceiling, as if searching for his mother’s face in the crowd. The weight of his victory was both thrilling and bittersweet. He had finally reached the peak of the mountain, but the person he wanted most to share it with was gone. Tears welled up in his eyes, not from the physical pain of the fight, but from the emotional toll of everything he had endured to get to this moment. Rooney patted him on the back, and the crowd continued to chant his name, but Tom's mind was elsewhere.In that moment, Tom wasn’t just a world champion-he was a son who had kept his promise.
