A Spectacular Start to the 5th LaLaBaLa Festival! | Imperial World School
The Opening Ceremony of the 5th LaLaBaLa Kathmandu International Children’s Theatre Festival 2025 was a grand and unforgettable celebration of art, culture, and creativity!
The day began with a vibrant opening rally from Budhanilkantha Temple to Imperial World School, where performers from 12 participating countries joined hands with our students to showcase the spirit of unity in diversity.
The ceremony featured inspiring speeches, mesmerizing dance and orchestra performances, and a symbolic lighting and tree plantation by our esteemed Chief Guest Anita Lama (Deputy Mayor, Budhanilkantha Municipality) and Special Guests — Prof. Dr. Abhi Subedi, Harihar Sharma, Prof. Dr. Sabitri Kashyapati, Ashesh Malla, Akanksha Karki, Prabhakar Nyaupane, and Ram KC.
The event concluded with a breathtaking opening theatre performance by the Imperial World School Theatre Team, marking the official beginning of this international celebration of imagination and expression.
