started drying up, crops, trees and plants withered, and the ani-

wretched stench of death in the air all over the kingdom.

Once upon a time, in a far-off kingdom, there was a young
man named William, who lived with his family. William had a kind
heart and would help others at every opportunity he would get.
Life in the kingdom was great. But one day, something strange
happened. It grew dark in the middle of the day. Rivers and lakes
started drying up, crops, trees and plants withered, and the ani-
mals lay dead. Birds started falling from the sky and there was a
wretched stench of death in the air all over the kingdom.
People were terrified and started praying to God. The king had
a meeting with his ministers and the king’s astrologer found out
that this was the work of a wicked sorcerer. The king sent out the
word all over the kingdom that whoever can kill the sorcerer, and
save the kingdom from his curse will be rewarded handsomely.
William stepped up to be the chosen one to go battle the sor-
cerer. So, he set out on a long, treacherous journey. He had to
cross through the enchanted forests, moist swamps, and treach-
erous mountains, facing many dangers along the way but his
determination and bravery never faded, and he never lost hope.
At last, he reached the sorcerer’s lair and confronted him. He was
a powerful magician and they had a long, raging battle but, in
the end, William was able to outsmart him and break the curse.
The kingdom was back to its former glory, and the people were
overjoyed. William returned home to a hero’s welcome. He had
saved the kingdom and become a true leader. He was loved by
all and his name was forever remembered as the brave man who
saved the kingdom.
