Pedagogy
IWS prepares students for success in both academics and life by nurturing the development of the ‘5 Cs’, namely: Communication, Creativity, Confidence, Collaboration and Critical thinking skills.
At IWS we support senior students by implementing the most effective, research-based learning strategies that are recognised globally.
Our teachers, who regularly undergo training to stay up-to-date with the latest methods, aim to deliver the international curricula in such a way
that each child is stimulated and given the personal care and
attention they need to meet their learning objectives.

-
The school allows children to investigate, experience and understand the world around them, using their innate curiosity to fuel their learning.
-
Our technologically equipped classrooms (kitted out with internet-connected devices that bring video, audio and other multimedia tools into the learning experience) prepare students to participate in an increasingly tech-driven world.
-
Students also have access to a library and state-of-the-art computer lab on campus.
-
IWS follows a unique style of teaching and is committed to employing and training knowledgeable educators who deeply care about children and want to help them succeed.
-
Classes are small, with between 15-30 students each, to ensure that each child gets individual attention.
-
At IWS, learning is more centred around creative thinking and problem solving, instead of outdated styles of teaching such as rote learning.
High School
At IWS we support senior students by implementing the most effective, research-based learning strategies that are recognised globally.
Students are not just taught what to think, but how to think critically to understand the world around them, and make informed decisions. Senior students get chances to work on their own and as part of a team, honing both independent and group-working skills.
Elementary School
We know how hard it can be for younger students to sit still and pay attention, that’s why we make learning activities fun and engaging!
As much as possible, we use interactive tools and strategies to make learning materials come alive in the classroom. This not only helps to keep young learners interested, but it also makes lessons feel more real and relatable.
There is even a Social Club that plants the seeds of moral values into children’s minds.
