Chapter 1

Rivan Avangard stood in front of his school, staring at the tall building with fear in his eyes. He was the only normal person in his neighbourhood— everyone else had supernatural abilities. Rivan had none, and that made school difficult.

As he walked toward his class, the school bullies blocked his way.

“Oh look, it’s the kid without superpowers,” one of them laughed.

“Stop that right now!” a firm voice said.

It was Ergstal, Rivan’s older sister. The boys immediately ran away because she had powerful cavalcavine abilities. Rivan sighed in relief and entered his classroom.

Inside, he met his only two friends, Dilan and Retro.

“Hey Rivan, are you excited for the camping trip?” they asked.

“What camping trip?” Rivan replied, confused. Just then, their teacher, Mrs. Nature, entered the class.

“All of you have been informed that we are going on a camping trip to the woods,” she said. “Once we reach there, you will be divided into groups.”

Soon, the buses left for the forest.

After three long hours, they reached the campsite. Mrs. Nature began assigning groups.

“Bragzy, go with Bora. Rivan, you’ll stay with Dilan and Retro. Your group will prepare food for everyone.”

“But can’t I do something else, ma’am?” Rivan asked.

“No,” Mrs. Nature replied firmly.

“Okay, ma’am,” Rivan said quietly as he walked toward the cooking area.

“This is the worst job,” Retro complained. “Everyone else gets to explore, and we’re stuck here.”

“Then why don’t we go into the woods instead?” Rivan suggested.

“That’s risky,” said Dilan.

“Whatever. It’s more fun than sitting here,” Retro said.

And so, the three friends walked into the woods.

Chapter 2

They had no gear, no food, and as the sun began to set, the forest grew dark and frightening. They were tired and hungry.

“Yep… this was a bad idea,” Dilan said.

Suddenly, something shiny appeared in the distance.

“What’s that?” Retro asked.

They carefully walked toward the light and discovered a huge crater.

“That’s definitely a meteor,” Rivan said.

As Rivan stepped closer, something inside the meteor opened, revealing a strange watch.

“I don’t think you should touch that!” Retro shouted.

Rivan ignored him and put the watch on his wrist.

Suddenly, a voice spoke.

“New host detected.”

Pieces of glowing armour surrounded Rivan’s body. In seconds, he was wearing a red suit with blue accents.

“What just happened?!” Rivan screamed.

“Hatch transformation complete,” the voice said.

“Who are you?” Rivan asked. “What do you want from me?”

“I am Sectem, King of the Morphors,” the voice replied. “I am now bound to you. Together, we can fly, heal others, and survive anything.”

“So… we work together?” Rivan asked.

“Yes,” Sectem replied.

“Well, we were supposed to prepare food at camp,” Rivan said. “Can you take us back and help us?

“Same thing,” Sectem said.

In a flash, the three were teleported back to camp. The food was prepared in under a minute.

“You are insane,” Retro said.

“Wait,” Retro whispered. “The others are coming!”

“Sectem, hide and don’t talk,” Rivan said.

“Didn’t need to tell me twice,” Sectem replied.

The armour disappeared into the watch, and its lights dimmed.

Soon, Mrs. Nature arrived.

“Finally! You did what you were told. Everyone, let’s eat,” she said.

Nobody suspected that Sectem even existed.

Chapter 3

Over the next few days, Sectem proved very useful.

During lunch, Retro asked, “Is that all your power?”

“No,” Sectem replied. “Long ago, I was a god. An evil Morpher named Vowrath attacked my planet. He corrupted himself and became extremely powerful.”

“He summoned four corrupted generals,” Sectem continued. “We were losing. My host scattered four powerful stones across the universe. Then he sealed my powers, sacrificed himself, and launched me into space.”

“Only worthy people who pass the trials can collect the stones,” Sectem said. “With all four stones, Vowrath can be defeated.”

“That’s the coolest backstory I’ve ever heard,” Dilan said.

“Do you know where the stones are?” Rivan asked.

“Yes. The first one—the Combat Stone—is hidden in the densest forest you’ve ever seen.”

And so, they set off.

After struggling through the thick jungle, they found an ancient temple. Inside were mazes, puzzles, and questions that tested their minds.

Finally, they reached a room filled with strange symbols. In the centre stood a pedestal.

“The Combat Stone!” Retro shouted.

As they stepped forward, a cold voice echoed.

“I don’t think so.”

Chapter 4

A dark figure appeared before them.

“Hellox, the first general,” Sectem said angrily

“You will not take the stone,” Hellox said.

“Let’s fight!” Rivan shouted.

“No,” Sectem warned. “We’ll be killed. We must trap him.”

Before Hellox could react, Dilan and Retro launched grappling hooks, pulling him down. Rivan rushed forward and grabbed the Combat Stone, placing it into the watch.

Instantly, Sectem’s armour was upgraded. A chainsaw sword formed in his hand, and two machine guns appeared on his back.

The battle was fierce. Hellox taunted Rivan, but in the end, Rivan struck him down.

After the fight, the three friends sat quietly on a balcony outside the temple.

“What a day,” Dilan said.

Rivan looked at the watch on his wrist.

“For the first time,” he said softly, “I don’t feel weak anymore.”

“You were never weak,” Dilan replied. “You just didn’t know it.”

Sectem’s voice spoke calmly

“Power does not choose the strongest. It chooses the bravest.”

Rivan smiled.

He didn’t know where the other stones were. He didn’t know when Vowrath would return. But one thing was certain— he was no longer just the boy without powers.

He was chosen to protect others.

And this time, he was ready.
