Prajna Khadka
Every night, when I went to the library, the clock struck twelve, and a door that nobody knew about opened and started glowing. That night, I quietly opened the door, and guess what I saw!
I saw a secret room filled with lots of books, a ladder to reach the top, and lamps and they were all floating. Then, suddenly, a book came to me and said, “Welcome to our secret library. These books only wake up at midnight.”
The book told me her name is Sophia. Sophia showed me around, told me funny jokes, and sang songs. Then she said, “If you are interested in reading our books, you can read one.” I chose a book, and she told me, “You must return this book to us before 2:00 am.”
The book I read was about a rabbit, and then I didn’t notice that the clock was already 2:35 a.m. I was trying to talk to them, but they all looked at me. I tried to run, but it was too late.
