“Sir, can you please lend me 100 rupees? I need it.” said Vishnu, a homeless author. “No! I won’t waste my money on people like you!” said the publishing house owner. “Sir, I am not a bad person, I am an author!” Vishnu exclaimed. “You think I believe your story? Get out!” the man shouted and pushed Vishnu out of his office. Vishnu was a Nepali man who dreamt of becoming a successful and famous author since he was a kid.

“Hey, I have a 100 rupee note. I can lend it to you.” a young girl who had overheard the conversation, said to Vishnu. “Thank you so much! I can get some good food with this.” Vishnu replied. “I overheard the conversation you had with the owner. What were you saying about you being an author?” the girl asked. “Oh! I am an author, and I have been writing stories for years. My first book wasn’t as popular as I thought it would be, and it was a failure. Since then, none of the publications have wanted to publish any other book of mine.

I wasted all my money trying to sell them. I had no job, and I ended up homeless.” said Vishnu. “You have an interesting story, do you think your books can be famous?” asked the girl. “Yes, I think so.” Vishnu replied. “Do you have a few books left?” the girl asked. “Yes, I have some.” Vishnu said. “Can I borrow one?” the girl asked. “Sure!” answered Vishnu. “By the way, I am Bhawana.” the girl said, finally introducing herself to the man.

After a few days, Bhawana had come to meet Vishnu. “Wow! Your book was inspiring, and taught me a lot!” said Bhawana. “Thank you!” replied Vishnu. “Many people will surely buy your books, but they must be published.” Bhawana said. “You think so? But only a few bought them before” replied Vishnu. “Because they weren’t published! I am a journalist and I can help you publish your books. I can write an article about you, and there’ll be many people want- ing to hear your story, and I can also help you financially, or we can also use crowd-funding platforms.

There are many ways to do it.” said Bhawana. “Why are you helping me?” Vishnu asked. “Because when I read your book, I got a positive vibe and instantly knew that it could be an international bestseller.” answered Bhawana.

Bhawana helped Vishnu get recognition in public and the publishers slowly started publishing his books, and his book was an immediate hit. People started recognizing him in public. He also started getting famous in other countries. He wrote two more books and all his books were bestsellers. He became a prominent public figure and his books were translated into three different lan- guages. All of his books then became bestsellers in Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka. A few months later, Vishnu met the man who didn’t treat him as he should have. “Hi, are you Vishnu?” the man asked. “Yes, have we met before?” Vishnu asked the man in return. “Yes, but it wasn’t a good conversation.” the man replied. “Oh! That’s not a problem.” said Vishnu. “If you don’t mind, can I get an autograph and a picture?

I have read all your books. They’re amazing, and I recom- mended them to everyone I met. I’m sorry for the way I treated you before.” said the man. “It’s okay.” answered Vishnu. Vishnu gave the man an autograph and a picture, and then the man left. Bha- wana met Vishnu and asked him, “I heard the conversation the two of you just had. Your book really must have inspired him enough to change a person like him, to what he is now,”said Bhawana. “All this happened because you had faith in me. Thank you.” said Vishnu expressing his grateful heart to Bhawana.
